Grandma Kitty's Chocolate Cake

What you need:

  -2 Eggs

  -1 Cup of Sugar

  -2oz Chololate (melted)

  -2 TBSP Butter

  -1 and 1/2 Cups of Cake Flour

  -1tsp Baking Soda

  -1tsp Vanilla

  -1 Cup Sour Cream


What you do:

     -  Start by preheating the oven to 350 Degrees and prepare a 9-inch round pan with Butter or Cooking Spray

     -  Slightly beat the eggs, then add the sugar and beat some more.

     -  Melt the Butter and Chocolate together, and add to the egg/sugar mixture, once cooled.

     -  Beat in the Sour Cream.

     -  Mix in the Cake Flour, Baking Soda, and Vanilla.

     -  Once all the ingredients are mixed together well, bake on the center rack for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean, after being inserted.

  

Chocolate Frosting

What you need:  

  - 1/4 Cup Butter

  - 1 Cup Sugar

  - 1/4 Cup Milk (2% or Whole)

  -1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (Semi-Sweet)


What you do:

     -  Put the Butter, Sugar and Milk into a par and bring to a rolling boil.

     -  Once a rolling boil is acheived, remove from heat and stir in the Chocolate chips until melted.  

     -  Let cool and spread on the cake,
