What you need:
- Graham Crackers (Split into squares, from rectangles)
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- non-stick cookie sheet for baking
What you do:
Start by preheating your oven to 350.
Gather up your graham cracker squares, and put a healthy dollup of Marshmallow fluff on each of them. A healthy soup spoon is good. A good trick is to lightly spray the spook with cooking spray to help with the marshmellow fluff sticking to the spoon.
We are now going to roll out the cookie dough. Try a somewhat non-stick surface, like a counter top, or rolling mat. A wood cutting is not a good choice. Grab a small chunk of dough, a little larger than a golf ball, not quite a tennis ball. Roll it out so it is flat, just a bout a chocolate chip thickness, but no holes. Then, gently peel the flat cookie dough off the surface and place it, centered, over the marshmallow fluff. It is OK to have the edges exposed just a bit, as the cokkie dough bakes, it will cover the edges.
Bake for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. You can serve them whenever they are cool enough to handle.
This is meant to be a quick, easy and fun treat or dessert. Keep it simple, don't over think it.
Suggestions:
1. I like to use the tub of Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Dough. It is pre-made and delicous.
2. I tried using mini-marshmallows for this, but I couldn't get enough of them stacked onto the graham crackers, so tried the Jet Puffed Marshmallow Fluff and it worked great.
